Age Group: 11-15 Ready to give your wardrobe a fresh, personalized touch? Join Jeny for a fun and creative upcycling sewing class where you’ll learn how to alter, design, and transform your own clothes! In this course, students will: Master essential sewing techniques to adjust garments for the perfect fit. Get creative by reimagining old clothes into new, one-of-a-kind pieces. Explore fashion design basics and experiment with different styles, cuts, and embellishments. Whether you want to tailor a shirt, turn jeans into shorts, or give an old jacket a new vibe, this class will teach you the skills to express your unique style while reducing waste. No prior sewing experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a few pieces to upcycle! Ages 11-15 Taught by Jeny Fridays 5-6:30 01/17, 01/24, 01/31, 02/07, 02/14, 02/21, 02/28 Minimum 4 students, Max 6 students With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
