Slowfire Summer Camp: Creative Fun in Small Groups! Campers are divided into three small age-based groups, ensuring lessons are tailored to their level. Each group rotates through exciting projects and amazing instructors, offering a dynamic and personalized experience every day. Teacher-to-Camper Ratio: 5-6 campers per teacher. This camp is led by dedicated Slowfire teachers alongside talented Penny Lane Music instructors. Location: The camp takes place at Slowfire Grove, our amazing art house! With three floors dedicated to creativity, it features: 🎶 A fully equipped music studio 🎨 Ceramics and art studios 🍴 A full kitchen 🖌️ Drawing and painting spaces Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Morning Drop-Off: 8:30-8:50 AM on Euclid at Fox Park Afternoon Pick-Up: between 3:30 -4:00 PM on Euclid at Fox Park Daily Schedule (Order varies by group) 🎸 90-Minute Rock Band Class Taught by Mr. Shane of Penny Lane Music. No prior experience needed! Students explore new instruments—drums, bass, guitar, piano—and work on vocals as they jam together. 🎨 90-Minute Art Class Led by Slowfire Art Staff, focusing on painting, drawing, and fun, hands-on crafts. 🌳 90-Minute Lunch Break & Outdoor Play Campers enjoy lunch and outdoor activities at nearby Fox Park. 🛠️ 90-Minute Ceramics Class Hands-on clay exploration with Slowfire Art Staff, perfect for budding sculptors. 🎲 Games, Crafts, & Group Fun Time to unwind and bond with friends through creative and playful activities. Why Slowfire Camp? Campers will expand their skills through exposure to multiple art mediums and new experiences, with projects designed to build on their abilities each week. Every day is packed with creativity and fun! We are a tech free zone and ask that campers do not bring handheld gaming devices and any cell phones or apple watches should be tucked away in a backpack. To secure your spot in camp, a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required. The remaining balance will be invoiced on May 1. If the balance is not paid by May 10, the student’s spot in camp will be forfeited.
