What Awaits You at Slowfire Summer Enrichment Afternoons? Get ready for an unforgettable summer filled with creativity, fun, and adventure—plus exciting new additions this year! Students will build confidence and explore their artistic side through a dynamic mix of projects featuring painting, drawing, collaging, crafting, and ceramics. New this year, campers may choose to participate in 45-minute ukulele sessions three times a week with Penny Lane Music, adding rhythm and energy to the camp! Our programs are tailored to all skill levels, and with a small teacher-to-student ratio, every project is designed to inspire and grow with your child. What’s the Daily Routine? 🌞 Start with outdoor time to get the wiggles out! Enjoy a walk, games at the park, or just soak up the sunshine. 🎶🎸 Strum along! Ukulele lessons will be offered three times a week with Mr Shane of Penny Lane Music, bringing musical fun to the afternoons. 🎨 Dive into creative projects! Our staff will guide students through hands-on art lessons and activities. 🎲 Mix it up! Afternoons include crafts, games, LEGOs, Polly Pockets, and mini-adventures. 🚐 Hop aboard Vincent Van-GO, our art van! Weather permitting, we’ll visit local parks, the library, and splash pads. Don’t miss out on this incredible blend of art, music, and fun for an unforgettable summer! 🎨🥁🎸🌞 Monday- Friday noon-4pm Teachers: Joss and Fernanda Location: This camp will be held in partnership with The Learning Specialist on site at The Children's School. Our teachers will pick up your child from TLS at noon. Max 12 students Open to any student participating in The Learning Specialist Summer Intensive To secure your spot in camp, a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required. The remaining balance will be invoiced on May 1. If the balance is not paid by May 10, the student’s spot in camp will be forfeited.
