Have you always wanted to try out Ceramic Wheel Throwing? Come and "give it a spin" at Slowfire. Join us for a 1.5hour trial class, where you will learn the basics of the wheel throwing process and come away with at least one thrown vessel! In this relaxed and beginner-friendly class, Steven will guide you step-by-step through the basics of centering, shaping, and creating your very own pottery piece. Whether you’ve never touched a wheel before or just want to try something new, this is the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity. We’ll provide everything you need—clay, tools, and expert instruction—so all you have to bring is your enthusiasm (and maybe a friend!). At the end of the evening, you’ll have a newfound appreciation for this beautiful craft and a unique piece to remember your experience. Staff will glaze and fire your work, and email you to pick up.
