Ceramic Gingerbread Houses (Ages 10-14)

Service Description

11.23 1:30-4pm Create a gingerbread house out of clay with Ms. Salma! Participants will build and assemble a house out of clay and underglaze their creations. Slowfire staff will fire the houses, add a clear glaze coat, and do a final glaze firing. Houses will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks post event. Location: 907 S Lombard Ave With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
