Service Description
Taught by Slowfire teacher Metzli, this class covers skills such as wedging and handbuilding with small tools. It will delve deeper into use of large tools such as the extruder and the slab roller. We will focus on the art of hand building, creating functional ceramic pieces, using a variety of techniques such as pressed platters, slab built mugs and coil constructed bowls. Students should bring an apron and rags to class. All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs ( clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class. Ages 5-8 + Their Adult Saturday Mornings 10:00-11:00am SATURDAY 05/04, 05/11, 05/18, 06/01, 06/08 Price covers adult and child! No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded.
