Slowfire Studios proudly announces its presence across two Oak Park, IL locations. Our inaugural establishment, Slowfire 1, in the southwest corner of Oak Park on Carpenter Ave, has concluded its chapter. As testament to our thriving community, we have opened our new location Slowfire Grove.
Slowfire Studio on Lombard Street is located within the vibrant tapestry of the Oak Park Arts District. Catering to a wide spectrum of ages, our studio plays host to classes, camps, parties, events, and workshops. Ceramics, painting, drawing and mixed media are all available at Slowfire Studio!
Slowfire Grove, a home located near Fox Park, was created to host a variety of art mediums primarily catering to ages 11+. A cornerstone of our offering at Slowfire Grove are the adult and teen membership ceramics programs. This studio offers high fire ceramics and glazes, as well as an entire handbuilding area, multiple kilns, and a dedicated glazing facility. Slowfire Grove is also home to Chef Ashley's Petal & Moon pastry and baking classes.
